What is a Zero Waste Fun Pack?
Our Zero Waste Fun Packs are pre-packed boxes containing everything you need to host your own Zero Waste event! The Fun Packs are customizable, but typically include:
- paper plates
- napkins
- paper cups
- biodegradable utensils
- compostable bags
- recycling bags
How much comes in a Fun Pack and how much does it cost?
- 50 plates, cups, napkins, and biodegradable utensils
- One compost bags
- One recycling bags
Fun Packs are available for only $20! The Fun Pack is a cheap and easy way to make your event Zero Waste! If would like R4 to come set up and take down your event, an additional charge of $45 per Fun Pack applies.
What do I do with all the recycling, compost, and trash left over from my event?
Not to worry! After your event, return your waste and your fun pack box to R4 Recycling and we will dispose of everything properly.
OK, you've convinced me! How do I get one of these Fun Packs?
The first step is to call the Work Order desk at 2-1655 (make sure to include your department's recharge number). After we receive the work order, one of our friendly Zero Waste coordinators will contact you to sort out the specifics of your event. These Fun Packs are designed for small events that include less than 100 people. However, accommodations can be made for larger parties.
