Waste Audits and Assessments

R4 Recycling provides the university a program called Waste Audits and Assessments for waste reduction and recycling improvement in a department or building. Below is the process:

  1. Assessment: R4 evaluates current recycling system.
  2. Waste Audit: R4 examines the trash composition.
  3. Analysis: R4 determines areas of improvement and action plans.
  4. Education and Promotion: R4 implements new recycling systems and educates the building staff.
  5. Then, cycle begins again to measure the improvement.
No recycling bins nearby? Only have a trash can for waste? Need additional recycling bins? Don’t let recyclables go to the landfill!
