Waste Audits and Assessments
Do you know what is in your waste stream
R4 Recycling provides the university a program called Waste Audits and Assessments for waste reduction and recycling improvement in a department or building. Below is the process:
- Assessment: R4 evaluates current recycling system.
- Waste Audit: R4 examines the trash composition.
- Analysis: R4 determines areas of improvement and action plans.
- Education and Promotion: R4 implements new recycling systems and educates the building staff.
- Then, cycle begins again to measure the improvement.
No recycling bins nearby? Only have a trash can for waste? Need additional recycling bins? Don’t let recyclables go to the landfill! Request an assessment from the R4 Recycling Program.
