The Mania continues in 2007!
Last year, UC Davis was placed 9th overall out of over 90 universities in RecycleMania. Let us keep up the good work this year!
What is RecycleMania?
- RecycleMania is a friendly competition among college and university recycling programs.
- Focused on Student Housing.
- Provides the campus community with a fun, proactive activity in waste reduction.
- Campuses compete to see who can recycle the most and waste the least.
- 10-week competition.
- Begins January 28th.
- Ends April 7th.
Which schools participate in RecycleMania?
Currently, there are currently over 200 colleges and universities nationwide participating in RecycleMania 2007. Many more are expected to join before the competion begins. For a list of participating schools Click Here.
How do I participate in RecycleMania?
Help us recycle! Accepted recyclables include:

- Magazines
- Newspaper
- Office Paper(all colors)
- Phone books
- #1 through #2 Plastic
- Aluminum cans
- Glass
- Steel cans
- Baled and unbaled cardboard boxes
