Recycle Mania is a friendly competition
amongst nearly 100 participating colleges in the United States that provides students with a fun, proactive activity in waste reduction. This is UC Davis' second year
participating in this exciting event. Each participating colleges have ten
weeks to collect the most recycling within the resident halls. Recycling
will be measured weight per resident. The winner of this competition will
receive the Recycle Mania trophy and an appearance in campus newspapers in
participating colleges.
